Isipathana made yet another double by clinching the U-18, 10-A-Side All Island Championship for the second year in succession beating St. Thomas 17/13held today & yesterday at Royal Complex. Worth the money to witness a true Isipathana Never Say Die spirit, when the boys came hard on the dying stage of the second half. By then they were trailing 05/13, Isipathana scored one goal and two tries. The winger Vishwamithra Jayasinghe scored all three tries and Niroshan Chathuranga added a two pointer. Havelocktown boys cursed trough opponents at the semi over Royal 20/00 and Kingswood 43/00 in the quarterfinal. Captain Sajith Saranga were quite outstanding as usual as well as his deputy Niroshan Chathuranga. Rising 16 year old fly half Prasad Devinda was impressive with his 100% accuracy drop goals.
