At the qualifiers Isipathana beat St. Aloysius by 56/00 with ease and on the nextday beat Vidyartha by 40/00. Biggest upset of the tournament was done byMahanama who beat Kingswood by 17 (1 goal, 2 tries) to 14 (2 goals).
